Mathematics is actually a subject where at its core, a child should get the good sense and definite group of a rules. When these sets up are basically settled, then a student only should practice and get a command of the topic by preparing the simple examples. As the outcome of hard work and constructing upon a sound ground, a better mark of A or B should be expected for sure.
How experience helps me in my work
Whenever a young person is really having a hard time, I try to find the right "handle" to apply to allow the scholar to make sense of the process. Because of my practice from a long career in which I kept a teaching duty, albeit except education, I can easily demonstrate the seriousness of numeracy, and also of the need to build a student's peace of mind. I strongly trust the secret to eventually becoming qualified at or good in mathematics is in the teacher; it is not the child's fault if the teaching is unsatisfactory and/or doesn't set up the thoughts and enable them to "understand", enjoy it and end up being convinced at it.
Honesty and sympathy
I think that a scholar will not study in case they are not encouraged and vowed, and a specific good motivator for individuals is the relationship between the child and the tutor. A supportive treatment, and an atmosphere within which the relations between student and teacher can advance and ensure fair conversation, so the child is not frightened to address areas of disadvantage and misunderstanding, will be delivered. I strive to create a respective and encouraging relationship with any child I teach, in such manner that they also can appreciate the fantastic knowledge into the natural world that maths and science deliver me.
I can easily teach children in any level of maths. I believe that my amazing advantage is to meet the individual scholar at the level they currently are, and stimulate them further. I strongly believe that nothing at all is more crucial for great results that the child's self-esteem. It is my goal - to let children get faith in themselves through mathematics and sail through. Couple of things cheer me more than when a child sees it and their confidence grows.
